THE IFs

Everyone has an urge for something greater. We all have that thing we wish we want, we wish we'd done something in another form or way, other than how we did it originally. But,
what if we actually did it the way we wished rather than the way we originally did it, and found out it was better left untouched. a popular saying reads "if wishes were horses...". Truly, if wishes were horses, we would dwell  in  our mistakes, and be consoled that if and when we wished for a thing, it will all be gone and corrected. So, why don't we do it first and do it right? And when we don't get it right at first, we must learn from our mistakes.
I don't think there's anyone on earth that makes wishes more than myself. but at some point, I had to take a pause and slap myself into reality. If I need and desire it, I can only work it into reality and by that, it becomes a wish come true. of course, the temptation of making wishes and doing nothing about its reality comes to us every other day, but we must be conscious and willing to make our wishes and dreams and what ifs into a reality. It is only for our good and a story for our lips.
What if we never had to work to live good, you know, just fine? What if we never had to experience heartbreaks, our first love or crush would be just fine when we decide to call it quits? What if we would never add those fats when we eat all carbs? What if ladies could have sex without attaching emotions? What if trust would never be betrayed and bonds unbroken? What if promises said would never be unmade?
All wishes, all what ifs. a perfect life we wish, but its beauty lies in its imperfection.
