TRUTH; unchanging

It’s a lie! I don’t believe you! I think he’s lying!...

Lying has become an integral part of our daily lives and conversation, so much so that we’re not sure anymore when the truth is professed. Overtime, we have opened our arms wide with a smile, to welcome falsehood. This ill we have heartily embraced is gradually eating into the fabrics of our society. We are living fraudulent lives. Falsehood is the order of the day in our society. We make our living through fraudulent means.

A doctor will assure you that everything is under control, all because he wants your money and even though he knows the problem at hand is far beyond his capacity, he’d rather tell a lie to make money, than say the truth to save a life. In the courtroom, one swears by the Creator to say the truth, and nothing but the truth, but he boldly and proudly ends up telling lies and worst of all, is comfortable with the blunt lies that were uttered. With all these and more, the question ‘why so much lies?” keeps popping up. Our relationships suffer because one person or even both parties are telling lies and living a lie. Our religion is a shadow of what it should be, resulting to poor spirituality and deteriorating spiritual life, because some of our religious leaders are promoting their personal and selfish interest by misinterpreting the holy books. There are so, many job opportunities advertised on the web, yet the rate of unemployment never ceases to increase rapidly. We fancy flamboyant lifestyles and people living and spending lavishly, we want to be like them by all means and can do anything at all cost just to be that, and the easiest way is the fraudulent way; we don’t even care to consider how true these flamboyant people’s lifestyles really is. Our society is ill and the rot of falsehood is gradually and consistently taking over our society.

                                                         

We enjoy a false live. We wallow in falsehood. We appreciate; lies and are constantly ignoring and neglecting the truth, no matter how obvious the truth is. We are comfortable with lies. As a matter of concern, it pleases us and we enjoy being lied to, gradually accepting lies as a norm but let it be known that the truth will always be what it is, the TRUTH. Wrongdoings can NEVER outshine the right things. The truth shall always prevail. Truthful people are without doubt spited. Righteous people are always persecuted because they have chosen to stand up for what is right. The truth can never be old fashioned. The truth is a respecter of nobody. The truth is not partial, nor racial, nor segregate. The truth does not change. It remains what it is, the TRUTH. We claim to stand for what is right yet we are quick to compromise, only for a little price. Yet let it be known, the truth does not struggle to shone. We promote lies and make it seem presentable and acceptable. A lie is a lie. It can only seem like the truth, but it can NEVER be the truth. “if e no be Panadol, e no fit be Panadol”. If it is not the truth, it cannot be compromised.

The holy book says that the truth shall set you free and yes, the truth shall set you free, ALWAYS. Stand up for what is just and right. Be steadfast in your pursuit for justice, truth and uprightness.
