Such humanity

At about 10:30pm, the quiet night was interrupted by the bleats of a flock of goats. They sounded distressed, a flock far from the sound of a single (probably the lost) goat. There sounds were coming from opposite directions, an indication that at least, one of them was lost and by bleating,

they most definitely would locate each other, a bid to reunite. This display of care and kindness, love in all its pure form struck me. These goats are obviously owned by one person, which invariably means that they live in the same farmhouse, as the case maybe. This also means that these goats are most likely not siblings (or related by blood), but by the virtue of proximity and as “neighbors”, a bond was being created and by evidence, already exists. It is laudable and really impressive to see goats display such immense level of care to each other. One will wonder, the relevance of the behavior of a goat to the real world of humans, but now it brings me to say; if goats, which we regard as one of the dumbest being on earth could care so much for its kind, how much more the human race, a creation of the image and likeness of the CREATOR, a being that supersedes all other creation, demi-gods? The Holy Bible tells us that God, our Creator, is love, and if we are conscious of this, we will know that we must love as God loves, and in accordance with His will and ordinances for us, His replica. The bible also clearly states that we must love our neighbors as we love ourselves and the bible does not limit its definition of a neighbor to the person who lives next door, rather it extends it to anyone who we see in need, the one who asks us for help, regardless of our numerous differences.
Unfortunately, we kill, rob, defile and abuse our neighbors, for our own selfish gain, defaulting and defiling the ordinances of God. Therefore, we must learn a significant moral lesson from the goats, to always and at all time, show love to our neighbor and through that, glorify God, our Creator.

                                                SHOW LOVE, JUST BECAUSE.
