AT AFIKPO; the people.

My experiences in the camp at AFIKPO has really been remarkable within the shortest period of time, and I’m talking of less than a week! Having said that,
there are a couple of people who literally standout in camp. Forgive me if I seem too judgmental, it’s just how I feel. These people include but are not limited to SNUBS. These people belittle you at the slightest encounter, through their countenance. For them, you are literally worthless, can’t compare yourself to their perceived class (whatever it may be). The other people are the PRETENDERS. These people try to appear smarter than they actually are or try to appear richer than their pockets. There are also THE SPOUSES, who act all mushy and romantic, are seemingly so into each other, clinging to them as though their lives literally depend on the other, yet they spark up in the most spiteful and contradictory way imaginable, regardless of the place or time 😒 and funny enough, they met in camp, which most likely means they’ll end in camp (whatever it is they've got going). There are also the OBSERVERS, (I happen to belong in this category 😊). These people take in and take note of the happenings around them and they draw their personal conclusion from their observations. This group of people can further be divided into two, those who hold dear to their hearts and would hesitate to divulge their personal observations and perceptions about certain occurrences or discussions which have some sort of bearing or relationship with their observations, and the others who would not hesitate to discuss their observations, to whom it may concern. simply put, they are the "yimu yimu people"😄. There are also the PRESENT ONES. These people are evidently present at all times and almost everywhere. Their absence in a place or gathering cannot go unnoticed. These group of people are either lousy, big spenders, extremely funny, but one way or the other, they are basically extroverts. You CAN’T miss them when they are present. They NEVER go unnoticed.
