DISCIPLINE: the word of command.

If there is one thing we all want and NEED in our society, it is DISCIPLINE! As much as we can, often and on, we preach the act and inculcate such good in our society and yet I wonder, why do we have a society where indiscipline is the order of the day?
The coordination that comes with discipline is heart thrilling. A tip of the iceberg
can be seen at a military headed or coordinated gathering, a parade to be specific. The amazing sight of a corresponding and coordinated action at the word of a simple command, is second to none; the indescribable satisfaction it gives and impressive nod affirming the amazing coordination produced by a simple word of command. The Nigerian society is a free society, ungoverned by the military. Even though a military reign is fear filled, there is a reasonable level of coordination observed in the daily running of the society. Needless to say that too much of everything is bad, the military personnel are known for their busybodies, which is their renowned trademark. “Dem too dey overdo”, and that’s where the problem sets in. Other than that, their nature and spirit of coordination is needed in our beloved country. Image result for disciplineWe must try as much as possible to be coordinated in our dealings, without looking out to impress anyone. DO THE RIGHT THING, ALWAYS! At all times, let the word of command be heard in our minds and let our action, which speaks louder, portray our level of discipline.
After all, said and done, we must brace up. We must ensure that the ones coming after us are disciplined set of individuals who must not deviate from proper values, such that in our grey days, we look at the people we passed our batons unto and smile, our hearts at rest, knowing that the society is safe and driven by disciplined minds. We must ensure that their watchword is DISCIPLINE. Their thoughts, deeds, words and action must be duly coordinated and that way, the world we wish we have, had or live in would then be a reality, an existing reality, right before our very own eyes.

Our conscious effort of discipline makes ALL the difference.
